Before all of you old heads tell me that I need to be getting plenty of rest and not watching tv like the rest of the threads that I have searched. Tell me what is the biggest tv you guys can fit on a shelf in your prostar. I don't want to have to mount it on the walls or cabinet. I will be getting my own truck in a few weeks and would like to go ahead and purchase a tv. I only watch tv about 45 minutes before going to bed and would love to have something to play Xbox on during my reset and a few minutes in the evening. Thanks in advance for any help!!!!

I put a 22 inch flat screen in mine, but I know someone that put a 24 inch flat screen in his new prostar.

Depends, I had a 23" Samsung in my condo with the storage cabinet overhead. there's was a little bit more room but not much. Now that I have a mid-roof i could use a larger unit. Might also consider an energy star rated tv since it will allow the batteries to last longer or in my case allow the 400watt inverter to run both the tv and my computer.

Make and model of TV . Case size is not the same from one to the other. Some the screen goes almost to the edge , some have up to a three inch border. Not a cut and dry answer.

I have a 19" Sanyo with built in DVD player. It's top loading slot and is a bit tight when removing or inserting a DVD. I have a $20 240 watt inverter plugged into the 12v plug behind the tv. Never had a problem.

I quit driving OTR last year, but i had a 19" flat screen. The ProStar I had had the mount already built in from the factory. It didn't take up much space at all, a lot less than my old 13" CRT TV did anyway.

Any TV should fit. The mounting bracket should match up to the holes on the back of the TV. If they don't you could mount the TV to a piece of plywood and mount it to the bracket. Both were Christmas presents. They are regular 120 volt TVs. I use a 400 W cobra inverter.
