Took Friday afternoon Saturday and Sunday in Joplin, truck was in the shop most of the day Saturday and Sunday. I get on the board Monday and find my days out have been reset, fine, but I called the new fleet manager to ask if it would affect my home time, she said no. Then I find out today the 5 days off I had when I pulled into Joplin are gone, and all I have are the 2 days I earned since leaving Joplin. Pretty pissed about that. Other than that 2500+ the weeks i wasn't in Joplin.

That doesn't sound right, unless you chose to take the time off instead of it being listed as down time for repairs.

Well I asked to see the doctor, yes, but that was Friday. Saturday and Sunday were days the truck was in the shop. Also i thought we banked days. where did my 5 days go? they all dissapeared.

If your in Taylor, and want some good coneys, go to Sami's, from the yard, go west 1.8 miles on Eureka, cross over telegraph, it'll be on the right.99 cent coneys.Have Greek salads, breakfast specials too.Way better eats, and prices than that little daddy place.Stop by Mejiers, get yourself a Faygo Rock n Rye soda, or a original Vernors.

Don't sweat the days off/out.Instead of putting you on breakdown status, somebody put you on time off status I suspect.Call your fleet person Monday, its a simple fix for them.If you look on the company website, on drivers dashboard, it will show you your days out.Always best to keep a eye it, just in case.

Another thing, if your taking vacation time, make sure your fleet manager knows those days are vacation, that way your regular time out isn't tapped. The terminals don't always show it as vacation. If you come back early, check your dashboard deal on website, make sure your time is adjusted.

Picked up student, got brakes adjusted, took load to Bentonville...got preplan to Laredo that would load today but brakes are still vibrating. Back at shop, lost the load. Was 8th on repair list, went to "not till monday" when a bunch of trucks came in under loads that needed the shop. Got a good night sleep, in shop now...hopefully will roll soon.

Monee IL. Felt so out of touch in Canada with no cell/data plan -- good to be back in the states.

PS border crossing is a breeze with con-way's bar-coded coversheets. Barely had time to kill the engine before being waved through...

Jacksonville, FL just ran 3 loads around town until my 14 was up (thanks Con-Way) got to Rock Tenn and the new trlr has a Flat. Then I get a call that my young uncle has passed. I am so frustrated right now I don't know what to do. I don't want to ask my Fleet manager for more time off, because I argued with her about taking my time away last week, but my mom and family need me to be at the funeral this weekend. Any advice?
