Thank you, that is good info, ironically that is the area I like to stay in. ive made some good decisions regarding maintenence. I put a gulf coast oil bypass filter on, I run centramatics on my axles, I chrck air pressure every Saturday. Im looking into an auto greasing system. I run an air cell in my intake and have a turbo 3000 on. I have an 07 Pete 387 C15 475hp 18spd 3.25 rear. I avg 7.4mpg ay 67mph.

Where im leased now isnt bad, but Im looking for better money, and I enjoy fb work. Im 32, former special Forces. Im motivated and Im trying to buy a home for my family.

Oh, before the peanut gallery chimes in. I have 11 yrs experience because I drove farm trucks and I drove part time on free weekends when I was stateside. I count it.

Some of my best friends, when I was stationed at Bragg and lived in Spring Lake, were "Snake Eaters", 5th and 7th.

I was fifth. Deployed every 6 months plus whatever "emergencies" came up while we were home. Went in 99 came out 07 on medical, got my lower femur shattered by shrapnel. Got a stainless steel piece put in good as new, but was told I couldnt stay in SF so I got out.

I got out in '79. Was the 5th still at Bragg in '99, or had they been moved elsewhere?

They were headquartered in Ft. Campbell, but had 1battalion that remained at Bragg. I was at Bragg three years and moved to Campbell.

We used to spend all nighters at the Cedar Point Restaurant, in Spring Lake, sucking down pots of coffee or sweet tea, swapping "war stories. Mostly ragging on the 82nd.
When I got to Bragg, I caught a gig at the Rec Services warehouse. The guy that taught me the job was a retired SF CSM. He was a nut. Short little Irishman with a big attitude and 3 tours in Nam. Had alot of fun with him.

I'm lazy, I try to only run for agents I know. I too have deadheaded from exotic places home such as JFK, Lackland AFB, etc which drives down my average. If I truly felt like tracking it, I would be right at 50% deadhead. I had to fight the urge to bounce home yesterday from Ft Benning as everything was cheap out of ATL unless I waited until this afternoon to pick up. We all can tell you what we average, however, given the exact same scenario, you would have picked different loads, affecting your average. LS is all about you making the right load choices for you. I averaged 2.11 for the last two years on 80,000 and 70,000 miles. I also do 75% of my loads for one agent, who has fantastic expedited freight. It took me a year to find them. LS has plenty of negative issues as well, but the freedom to succeed or fail is unmatched.

Did you get a confimation for the webex class tommorow? Usually they send a message with the details and a confirmation.
