Not to get to far off track here, but let me ask....if you were provided with good service, why do you not condone double brokering?
Anyone else notice landstar becoming TQL #2 ?

According to the TCA, Landstar is the number 1 large O/O company in the country. That alone makes them being a cut above fact. Then there are the thousands of BCOs that have been here over 20 years. Some over 40 years, 15 or more years than LS has even existed. They must be doing something right. My domicile Agency started with Ranger January 2, 1973. People don't stay around if the deal isn't good. -
BTW, I admit that we do have SOME Agents that are not always on the up and up and I don't deal with them. -

lovesthedrive and aiwiron Thank this.

Your idea and someone else's idea, including mine, of "Good Money" may vary.
BTW, we have many customers that specifically state that their loads may not be brokered and they are not. But, they know they have to state that, they do not assume. -
aiwiron Thanks this.

As they told while my truck was sitting at customs for 7th hour and no end in sight, "I can see you are not at fault, but if Landstar loses money on this load because we have to pay you detention, you will never haul Landstar freight again". Oh yeah, great company.
Another time Jacksonville withholds multiple carrier settlements unless carrier agrees to take a 20% cut in the agreed rate? Oh yeah, great company.
What they are is a pack of lying thieves.VisionLogistics Thanks this. -
