Dyrserburg TN to West side of Philadelphia, with one pallet off in woodstock. $1900 on 950 miles. 28k#. it sure beats tarping steel at 45k#. steel paid alot more, but tarping is bad for your health!
Broker said she only gets a few per month now cause tennesse steel haulers came and bid less than 2$ mile on everything. so she only gets them when they dont have a truck in area.

 

Can't believe those idiots are still in business. They're the reason military rates dropped. They were dumb enough to undercut those too.

 

It's bad when you cut your own already low rate, it's like casterating yourself

 

Just checked our board, we ain't doing them for a buck fiddy, nor two bucks.

 

All the freight around home is knocked down by the usual suspects. Have those good Valmont galvanized poles 6 miles from the house but TSH and a Landstar low-baller and now even Huff and Puff is in there. The one good broker I use never gets 'em when I need 'em.

 

Don't worry about fluff & scruff, they will screw up before long and be out of there.

 

Most fun I ever had. Styrofoam tarped. 12 x 8 x 48. Went up mountains down thru valleys like a 4 wheeler. Had more fun than a sailor in a house of ill repute. Prime & TMC dropped there jaws when I passed them going up mountains. It was fun.

 

If my TMC truck cant pass a Prime truck, something is broken! As weird as it is, I pass TMC trucks quite often..... I drive for them!
