Can I put a 102" wide load on a 96" wide 48' Flat and be legal?
I got a 1996 truck...Can I still run in California? If so, till when?
Any help on these questions will be greatly appreciated...Thank you.

Unless you preregistered that engine with CARB, it is done in California, without a DPF. If it is preregistered, you have until1/1/14, then DPF.

You can haul 102 on a 96. It might hang over and ge a few extra looks but a long as it's not over 102 it's perfectly legal.

Yeah, you can put 102" on 96" wide trailer, because you're allowed to be 102" wide, van or flat.

Ever haul tires or carpet, without carpet speced trailers? They can get very pregnant.

    crb Thanks this.

I use a 96, unhook your straps befor you load because you may have difficulty doing so on some loads, plywood, palletized products, as an example. The rubrail is 96 the deck is 92 -93 inches.
