As for the o/p....I'm not judging you, but you did throw your situation on TTR searching for sympathy or empathetic folks to commune with. What may have eluded your thinking is that most folks here are PROFESSIONAL DRIVERS, many of which have spotless/accident free records (jncluding myself), so 4 accidents in 13 months is not just accidents to us, it's borderline negligence. You have openly admitted here amongst your peers your faults, so can you explain how PAM is not understanding the truth ? You wrecked their stuff right? So they shouldn't warn others of your negligent behaviour?

Sorry, this perhaps was the wrong venue for understanding, unless you consider that comment earlier ranting about an 11 year layoff, to which we all may agree was "out there".

lastly, trailor is actually spelled "trailer", good luck!

I do not listen or take the advice of people who have, or are failing
and given up. I try to listen to those that have and are trying to be successfull. "You will never be a winner until you have learned to lose" Vincent Lombardi

I like this and when I wasn't too lazy to go to the office I would tell those that I worked with that we have the potential to learn more from our failures than we do from our success. I was really hoping when we had our DOT audit they would have been stricter on us, I think that would have been a nice platform to advance the kind of changes I would have liked to see. However it didn't, and my circumstances have changed quite a bit so ultimately I'm glad that it worked out the way it did. It just makes changing things more difficult and it will end up being a longer process.

The OP finds himself in an interesting position, let go from his carrier for multiple incidents. The way I see it he's got two options, learn from it and become a "better" driver, or change nothing and continue to be the driver he is. If the op chooses the latter I hope that the company that he chooses to work for next is much more forgiving otherwise I fear he'll go down the same path.

    Best of luck dude.

There are many drivers that have had 1 year experience for the last 20 years. There also drivers who have gotten good at doing it wrong. I experienced this same situation in the construction industy as a bricklayer. Some 20 year men where rough, good at doing it wrong, but I met some younger men who had only 2 years and where good. If you learn the machanics properly as designed your speed and efficiency will come to you has a habit. Like a driver speeding and tailgating and they dont even know they are doing it, for the last 20 years. They are just rough and they struggle from getting good at doing it wrong.

CYA. Sorry you had to go thru this man. I'm not gonna kick u when ure down and I certainly won't get on PAMela's side but its a fine line out here man, a few inches mean the world to 13'6" & 53ft. Of course PAM doesn't care about truth, they are an employer who pay their employees less than industry standards... Profit Above Morals; at least that's what I got from my time there ...but you're subjecting urself to this when u agree to their slave wages and a $6000 bill if u get fired, its all in the fine print sir; look at the bright side u owe them nothing and ure CSA score is clean!!! Move on to better things!!

I always compare my relationship with lovely PAMela with that Julia Roberts movie "Sleeping with the Enemy"
