    i was wanting to know if you could be hired with a two 7 year old misdemeanors i have not been arrested since the charges are vandalism and possesion of marijuana

    I was hired with a 5 year old misdemeanor, this was back in '96, however. I doubt it would be a problem. You can always call up one the big carriers and ask.

    well i called prime trucking and they told me it should not be a problem they just have to get it approved by their superior i was just a little nervous

    I got hired with a 6 year old misdemeanor for theft and a two year old speeding ticket. Lots of companies wanted me anyway. I went with Willis Shaw Express. They have automatics and are always hiring new drivers out of school. They don't do hair follicle tests either, just piss. Companies are so desperate for drivers they'll hire pretty much anyone.

    I don't think it will be a problem with Prime just as long as you were upfront with them and didn't try to hide it from them.

    If a question says "Have you ever", and you have, BE SURE to say yes! These companies know that people do stupid things and learn their lesson, so after a suitable time they overlook it.

    Something like that WILL come up on a background check, so they WILL find out about it. Your honesty NOW means a whole lot more than a bad decision that happened years ago.
