I agree . I have often stopped with an hour driving available because any fuel stops another 50 or 60 miles ahead may be full . I usually start before 4 a.m. though and get stopped early enough to find a parking spot . Also with a tanker I can usually find a spot a 53' trailer couldn't get into .

 

if thats the only thing you hate, you are doing better than me

if they paid me extra to use them, i still wouldnt use them

You allow certain people to insult and degrade other members, and when they speak up in their own defense - prune their posts.

I doubt admin has ever failed to respond properly to reports of rude or offensive posts . That is what the report option is for . What some find offensive others may not .

 

Incorrect. It went into some form of being in queue as possible spam, because I would guess this thread was being babysat, and never went "live" to get reported. It was determined to be "bickering" because I stuck up for myself after being accused of being a BS'er and then it was inferred that I was either lazy or incompetent and wanted to drag people down to my own level. I'm still a hard runner, and I get the job done as good as anyone ... legally. We don't have to run "no matter what" because incompetent people can't correctly plan dispatches. I can shut a production line down if I don't show up on schedule. It's just food, but y'all eat it.

I was pissed, and if the certain individual said that to my face - he would have a handful to deal with.

I have participated here for quite some time and my thanked posts exceed my post count. I have done what I can to help people, and have never been reported once, nor have I reported anyone.

But I'll be ###### if I let someone insult me because I don't agree with them. This thread has been full of nothing but paper logger's calling those who choose to work for someone who runs eLogs, puppets, idiots, steering wheel holders, lazy, yada yada de frigging yada.

And then when I call a spade a spade by pointing out that "fudging" is breaking the law .... hang onto my hat, Junior, because here it comes.

I'm not some snot nosed whelp fresh out of a driver mill, I've been on both sides of the fence. I prefer this, because if I happen to be in the wrong place at the wrong time, my butt is covered. Because, I'm where I'm supposed to be, when I'm supposed to be there. The day one of you gets wrapped up in a sticky situation, and the lawyers get a hold of that log book violation, you'll remember my words.

But alas, just like out in the real world, if a bar is full of a'holes, you can either fight or leave. If I'm not being allowed to stick up for myself, I'm not going to stick around and be some truckers report doormat.

If I can't insult in return from Mr. freedhardwoods personally, and my posts are going to get neutered, I don't want to stick around. Don't worry, I won't let the door hit me where the good Lord split me.

I can just go away, but I would much rather prefer "retired" next to my name. That's how this place should be run anyway. If someone is banned, it should say banned. If they choose to leave, it should say retired. Takes the gray area away.
