A little duck tape over the camera lens and it's time to whip out the hose!

They can't get to the forward facing cameras behind the windshield without actually breaking in to the truck.

Yes, they could defeat the system, but it seems that they tend to pass up my truck for an easier target.

Multiple cameras that cover eachother, and the surrounding area. Go to put tape over one camera, another one gets you. Fakes will probably work as a deterrent, at least convincing them to move on to the next truck. If someone is determined enough, they'll get your fuel, tires, whatever. If you make you stuff harder to steal or less attractive than the next guy's, most thieves will move on. Some won't not much you can do about that without sacrificing more than most would be willing to.

Used to think why steal to work? Just sell your junk ang get a driving job. A thief is a thief and a liar a lair no mater where they are. I feel your pain, 32 years I have lost tarps, chains, binders, tires and fuel. The one time I found the guy ........ I hate a thief, including the folks who dont pay the bills that are owed for moving frieght.

I even had a guy once use his 10 or 12 year old kid as a look out while he went around to the back of my trl to steal my oversized flags, but that was many yrs ago, there have always been thieves out here, and there will always be.

I would see the manager and ask fo the camaras! He might ask you for a police report first.

Need a photoeye that reads when the gas cap is closed. Then when you leave the truck, set the photoeye to read the cap is closed. If it is opened then it sets the alarm off. If the thief tries to cover the photo eye it will also set off the alarm. A technical type person could really make some good money coming up with a product to solve this problem.
