My new truck will be

I am just busy to wash my truck, since I do not want to pay 50 bucks every week. I am the "rock star", the "talk of the city" at my company, so she need to be shiny all the time. Everybody want to talk about it, have some questions, even two of the company's owners come to see and talk about her features. Of course the main question is the fuel mileage. Although mainly I have light loads, in the first 13,000 miles it stands at 8.5mpg. I am satisfied and everybody impressed. (The computer cheating rate is 2%, the DEF mpg is around 225.) It seems I am running out of the small issues and the check engine lights, it start work as I would expect from a new truck. After 13 years in my old truck I needed a little time to get use it, but I start to love it. It is beautiful and great truck with excellent ride. Two advises. Balance your steer tires since Kenworth did not do it, and use at least 5 centered wheel nuts on it. And keep your old GPS, because the NAVPLUS is useless.

The centered nut is something like this. Maybe this is not the official name. At the tire shop they showed me, I am not suppose to need it, but the spacer on the axle leave a little room to move the wheel. They said for the perfect result I need to change five lug nuts, carefully fit all of them before any of them tightened, other way you mess your rim. After to put on the regular nuts. Anyway, with the balance it works perfectly for me. No more vibration from the steer axle.
No Armani's suite because they do not pay enough to have, and they pop up mostly in the most unconvincing time. Anyway it comes with pop star status.
By the way I have my fenders installed. Finally it seems the half fender fits perfectly. I will make a picture next time.

 

That can work too. Tho I prefer to have them abroad and keeping my wheels in place all the time. But probably it is just a feeling, because if a wheel can slide under the ten tightened lug nuts, probably I am in trouble already.

Yes, what the tire guy described and show me exactly what tru-bal.com explain. So I have lug nuts with internal sleeve.
Usually the tire guys do not like this self balancing stuffs. Especially hate the balancing sand in the tire.
The Real Wheels cover is my next project on my truck and the Aeroflap mudflap. Of course the 1.5-3% fuel save on the cover and 1% on the flap is stretch but if the two brings 1%, still worth it. One year ROI.
