I can promise u they are under. My husband along with about 300 others are filing their unemployment drivers are still stranded and the post office has all loads up for emergency bids. We have still heard anything on getting paychecks. There is a couple of his runs that he is still able to do because they have a fuel yard in MD but as far as I know the drivers have all given up because no one is getting paid. As far as 401k. No one can touch anything without a seperation notice or Brian Hicks calling in and filing proper papers to dissolve the account. So all around just a screwed up waiting game. He has left hundreds of families really screwed at this point.

I would like to know who you spoke with though so I can call myself and find out where thousands of dollars that is owed to my family right now. Cause as far as all the drivers on this side ain't no one returning calls or answering anything for us.

My reporter friend called the number on their website. A woman answered and told him everything was fine and that they are in business.
The ONLY thing I could find on this, is your posts about it on TTR. I would suspect that if there was a closing and a mass stranding of drivers, that it might be mentioned somewhere else. I'm not doubting you, but there isn't any collaborative evidence that they're out of business as you say.

i was at trojan horse since 2009 talked to fbi they said they thought best bet was to go through labor realation board talked to them they have a case open ,contact them with your information , i am also going to join ooida in oak grove mo if enough trojan drivers join them maybe they will try and check into it .use to belong to them when had my own truck on road parked it in 2000 went back on road in 2009 when i went to work for trojan was a good job until 2012 when he started keeping h/w money, we all assume that was what he used to buy trucks which he put in captiol expressways name in the last year. i dont know why this is not a federal crime when he suppose to pay h/w money to drivers not use for other things, per po contract which is a fed agency. brian hicks is just like his old man who started midwest transit until irs caught up to him , his sister use to haul mail too, she went out of business left drivers stranded too. i know all the drivers out of our pa relay point made it back to lot some bobtailed back from nj ,didnt get their checks either, some of them got part of their 401k money in the last three or four mounths, didnt get mine most didnt sure hope irs catches up with him he needs to go to jail but likely wont have anything done to him will just haul freight with trucks that he bought with our h/w money dont look like po going to do anything about it neither they have known about this for six mounths or more, all they were worried about was getting their mail moved where is justice for little guy

What can evil Marsh say? Looks like it has died. I DID get my people back to their homes. Yes, in central PA. Don't know much more than anyone else. Might blame the PO for stuff, but wth, done now. Does mean I can get a night's sleep without worrying about my drivers al the time. "lynjfy" (as in Jeffrey Lynn xxx) -- is that you Jeff? I am assuming?

Oh well, this could go on forever... It is what it is. Does anyone think this was wanted? I had nothing to do with the outcome. However, there are two sides to every story. I originally started posting on here because of all the half-truths and total falsehoods. The world is not all black and white nor yes and no. "lynjfy" has stated some things that are untrue but have a glimmer of truth in there. I am not sure why I even am posting... if people could talk calmly, perhaps more info could come out. Some people here rant about things like getting hurt, they fail to mention just how that happened. Or one guy getting fired, AFTER he rear-ended a truck in Canada and totaled the truck... getting a $1200. fine from the Canadian police... rant about the company, yet fail to mention certain pertinent details, right?!

Anyway it's sad. I am told that they are trying to get the drivers paid. I don't own the company. I don't have all the answers. All I know is that since it started, I have done my best to look out for MY drivers. I ran things on a seniority-basis, unlike others. Sometimes things are not perfect, but we made good money over the years. We had good trucks and I had the best drivers in the company. I am sorry how it turned out, although I keep getting told I have nothing to be sorry for. I did the best for my drivers, and I sure did not leave them out on the road -- even Jeff will have to admit that.

I am sure, that I will get a whole spate of attack stuff here, but since it was not my company, nor my decisions, nor any of that, I am not sure why that will be the case. Probably because I am here and others aren't. There's more to being a manager than having a title -- sometimes ya gotta sack up and take the heat. Anyway, I am still working to get my people paid. As to the other areas, I cannot answer for what their managers are doing.

Sorry all, I just get a little disgusted. I tried for years to do nothing more than do my job and look out for my drivers. I think I did. In the case of some, well it was never enough. The stress of this job was horrible and in the end, it was a relief to be done. I know I did my job, I know I tool care of my drivers. What more can I say or do?

*And "lynjfy", really, should I post your anonymous letter to the owner? I have a scan of it. Where you got the one guy fired and tried to get another one the same...

I find that hard to believe if TH was properly billing the PO. We have no problem getting paid by the PO.

How do you know I don't know the facts? Also, WHY would I be here? Using or at least telling people my real name? How do YOU know what the PO owes him and how much he has? You don't. What's your real name? :) It's nice to know who you're talking to.

More the P.O. are slow paying and some other stuff. Look, on that, I can't really post here. I DO know that the P.O., while not the whole reason for the problems, is a goodly part. There are other things. (boss' ex-wife) Darn (TR edits out any cuss words), no matter what I say, people will argue and call me a liar or whatever. What do I have in this? I don't own the company. I am just trying to help people. Even if only to get closure.

All I know is that I have hauled Mail for 28 years. ANYONE who has hauled Mail knows how postal employees are -- do you think their management is any different? They ALL start out on the floor. There is NO Postal "OCS" and the people that get promoted all started at the bottom. They didn't get a degree and get in. WHY do you think they are BILLIONS and BILLIONS in debt? A high level of incompetence. Think of the times you've been on a Postal dock and been hassled by dock workers or made to wait, even though your load was ready. No reason, but some petty official will hold you. How many times have you seen postal employees drunk or high at work? I DARN- WELL know I have. I used to know a girl who worked at the Northern Virgina P&DC, who would pound a 12 pack at lunch EVERY DAY. I'd be ripped at that. That kind of thing is common. I know though, I'm a liar.

All I am saying is that it is sad. It is embarrassing. Hell, I did my job. I did it right and I DARN-well looked after my people (unlike others) and no matter what, it still went down. So yes, I will sit here and argue w/ sh*thouse lawyers who think they know what happened, but don't actually know anything. A lot of things posted here, have a glimmer of truth, but aren't the truth. Rumors and hate.

@Sublime: doesn't mean they will pay. They told us they would not accept GPS data -- how do you fake that? There is a level of ignorance in the PO that is just stunning. A few years back, I got my fingerprints redone -- at a law enforcement place -- they used electronic fingerprint scanners (like the big gubmint places) and the IDIOTS in the PO where I went (NJ BMC) at the time REFUSED to accept them. WTF, WTF, WTF? Incompetence on a GRAND scale. THIS is why they are going under.

Anyway, the last commo I heard is that he is going to try and pay when he gets paid. I am not officially cleared to post in the name of the company, so take that for what it is.:biggrin_25516:
