Ok, here's the deal. I am replacing the thermostats in my C15 6NZ. I finally got the thermostat housing off the engine. Thermostats are stuck in the housing tighter than tight. How can I remove them without destroying the housing. Thanks in advance.

Long screwdriver...catch one of the braces of the tstat and pry out. You wont hurt the housing.

Thanks. Had to put it between the duals, but they popped right out. One more question if you don't mind; when I put it back together, do I need to put anti seize on the bolt threads. I had a hard time with two of them.

Put lots on the whole length of the bolts, that will stop the aluminum housing corroding and giving you problems next time.

ingedavi and silver dollar Thank this.

Did you replace the seals? Are they installed the right direction?
