Just shy of San Antonia, TX. Had planned on going another 300 miles, but a car hauler wrecked bringing WB 10 traffic to a standstill & I'm too low on 70 to sit in it on top of holiday idiot traffic.

 

I'm flipping to night driving for the weekend. Will mess me up for the Coke 600 Sunday, but will save the frustration of holiday traffic delays.

stupid safety department.

Well after having my truck in the shop for 24 hours yesterday, and being denied a hotel room, I picked up my load in Miami, OK and was told to come through Joplin again, and they found a wheel seal leaking. So here I sit again for the 3rd day in Joplin. so far they've had my truck for 10 hours. No way I'll be able to deliever on time. Lets hope i make it home by Monday night....

 

Seriously. They aren't trying to charge you with a preventable are they?

 

No I guess it's just procedure, it was under $500 body shop at best

 

Why did you "have" to go back to Joplin from Miami ok? I'm guessing your headed to GA area

They sent me a message telling me to make sure that I went back through the inspection bay in Joplin. I'm telling you man fleet 3 is weird. The shop had my truck until 4AM today. That's 12 hours for a wheel seal, so avoid the shop at all costs Paul.
