Conway Truckload Drivers what is your 20?

The tire scraps had scratched the paint on a car who felt like riding next to him.

 

Speaking of respect for a drivers time and holidays and such, get this. So I delivered yesterday near Atlanta at 11PM. After I got my hours back, they sent me to lawrenceville to pick up a relay at noon today, well this relay doesn't deliver until tomorrow morning at 5AM. After that I am to wait around until Noon to pick up a load going to lakeland for 8 AM Wednesday. Then I am allowed to deadhead home from there. Wednesday will be my 13th day after hiliting.

 

I have a doctors spot on the 12th....wonder if I should highlite now....jeeez...wtf is going on lately?

 

I thought you should have been deadheaded the moment you completed a load (after 8 days)???

 

Yeah, they pretty much said that's not how it works. I tried to talk to my fleet manager, but she was very defensive, and short. I won't even be paid for the last 90 miles or so home. I'm thinking about writing a letter to someone, because this all seems a little messed up.

 

Definitely time to climb the chain of command!

 

Tomorrow is judgement day for us !!! Hubby applied for the local OKC position hoping he gets it, will be glad to be off the road !!!

 

you should be paid the 90 miles...you need to call & talk to the floor supervisor tomorrow ... And if your not happy in that fleet get a new FM (fire her!)

hey I walked a mile in your shoes so to speak lol...well 1.8 to the Mall ( can't even get a trolley on the holiday ) went to the movies (old Hollywood stinks lol) and
Another 1.8 back to Walmart to call AAA Taxi
