When it comes to your dac record do companies look at that before you even get schedualed to start orientation? I have nothing on my dac record since I haven't even started driving yet just a question I've had and haven't been able to get clarified.

since you have no cdl. you SHOULDN'T have a dac so there's nothing for them to waste there time looking up.
someone else posted on here not to long ago though. with a failed drug test from his employment as a customer service rep some years back. so, apparently he has a dac without ever driving a commercial vehicle. -
I do have my Cdl, I start orientation today. I'm NOT concerned about my dac. Just a general question I had.

If you are new to the trucking industry,do us all a favor, find another career. The trucking industry sucks, not ever going to get any better.
CenutryClass and bigdogpile Thank this. -
DAC is basically a employment screening company. Any drug test you fail or any criminal record you hold is basically fair game in some states for disclosure on an employment application. The very minute you submit an application you have a DAC.
DAC is used by carriers because it allows them to fufill their obligation of due dilligence when it comes to meeting their legal requirements in regards to background checks on drivers. -
you mean, gives them the right to badmouth employees. RIGHT?
someones brilliant idea to start a record keeping company on truckers. -
