I used it at a company when it was still being tested, and it worked good. It works just like the TND 720 except it has the celluar built in to transmit your log and call data.

I got the first one installed on the company truck where I work back in December. I used Qualcomm at another place for 3 years. I like the Rand better.

You should know that this isn't the same as an EOBR. You should carry log forms and be prepared for the DOT officer to say "I need seven days back please" and won't accept the GPS unit as a replacement.

The ones in our trucks are EOBR compliant and approved. Been pulled in for level 1 in California and the only thing the DOT inspector wanted to see was my summary screen.

No it is a EOBR because it plugs into the ECM and transmits logs

    The TND-760 is an EOBR.

i'm curious as to how that thing works. when your OFF DUTY. for the weekend. or even during a 10. cuz if i'm stuck in town for the weekend. i sure as heck won't be sitting at the truckstop. i'll be dropping my trailer and heading into town. and i DON'T want my hours getting used up. or being told i'm OVER my hours.

well, todays log was a complete falsification. off duty personal conveyance was ok. but for some reason it logged me ON DUTY when the truck was shut down. 2.5 hours lost for being parked. in the sleeper.
