poor miles. poor treatment, you will be dispatched out of the mondovi terminal. plus they will take loads from you at will. and leave you with short little no paying loads. 85% of there loads go on the rail. so you better like going to the ramps in chicago and every where else. plus if you quit or the fire you. you have to find your own way home from where every you are in the country. plus on the weekends. they have no freight moving. plus if you make one mistake. they will cut your miles out. you have to watch what you say. from the time you get out of orientation. they start calling you a liar. the good thing is: if you get a bad truck. they don't make you stick it out. they will give you another one. when they take loads from you. they use what ever dreamed up reason they can.and wait until get 5 miles away and then take it. send you back past your last delivery point to get another short mile load. and they won't pay you the miles for turning you around. the other thing i noticed about them. they want foregiveness for their mistakes. but, they don't give foregivness when you make a mistake. don't take just take my word. just know what you are getting your self into.

they are picky about that. pretty much they want the truck at one of the terminals. or at one of their drop yards. or at your house. you think that's something. wait untill you have to sign the waiver for your travel expenses. if you don't stay for a certain period of time. i think it's 6 months. you have to pay them back you bring you to orientation plus lodging. plus you have to pay your own way home. they have a waiver that you have to sign in order to get the job. so some good advice. if you have a dependable car. i would drive it to the indy terminal and leave it. if for some reason the job doesn't work out. the cost of gas is a 1/4 of the cost over last minute travel arrangements. if you don't a spare car that you can use for that purpose. then you need to go get a wal-mart prepaid credit card. and put atleast a $1000 dollars on it for last minute travel arrangements. I'm not going to waste my time lieing to you. marten might actually work out for you. and you might actaully like the company. the last thing i can think of. is your miles have to due with the terminal you are out of. I think the best terminal there. is the one on the south side of kanas city. they get the longest miles because they are in the middle of the country. the terminals east of that city. have shorter miles due to a higher population and the cities are closer to each other. like i said, don't expect much out of them. they will also tell you how they sent some of the dispatchers out with the drivers. it was more of a paid vacation for both dispatch and the onwer operater then it was a training and knowledge thing. so they think that drivers have it easy. so they will never give the drivers any credit. I don't work for them any more. and I haven't been on the road in over a year now. I am trying to find more of a regular job. so i don't apply to many trucking jobs. so a good piece of advice. don't fill out the one stop application in the trucking web sites. that does more harm then good. instead. contact the companies you want to work for directly. and have them e-mail you a paper application to fill out. chances are. when you get to orientation a.k.a. job interview. they are going to have you fill out a hard copy of the application. so if you get the hard copy before hand. you can go completely thru it fill it out with out the dates. scan it back in to the computer. then print the filled copy out. date it,scan it,e-mail it back. then just before you go to orientation.printa another undated copy. staple it. so if or when they want you to fill out another hard copy. you will have one already fill out to hand in. that only needs dated. it's also a great way to keep track of you employment history. plus you can use it to compare to your dac record. free from hireright.com. to see if any trucking company that you applied. that either turned down. or was denied employment. to ensure they don't pull anything on your dac record. and there are a number of trucking companies that will use the dac record or a number of other records simular to dac. to get even with drivers. with this being said, any job that conducts a background investigation. must disclose the record or credit reporting agencies they use and report to. most trucking companies don't use dac anymore. the reason being. drivers can now access the records and find out what's going on. any ways. I wish you the best of luck at marten.

as Mr Matt says , give it time, you will see the truth come out about that place.
It used to be a GREAT company.
    Don't damage any equipment.
Randy Marten will scribble a not and mail it to you, thanking you for costing him money.
Make sure to use your steering gear lock, there are drivers who are spies, and they will report you for not using it.
