If memory serves correct It is like a $400 deposit. You don't have to pay the deposit, but you are responsable for any damages done by your pet.

You should have no problems with the dog--if i remember correctly its a certain $$ fee per pound but not real sure--i know many had really big dogs!

you are so nice ... I belife that when i get my own truck that if i have something to look after from home it can make days really good. The dog is very Lazy , so i think he would be fine hang'n out with me for few weeks , then swap him out every few trips so he can still remain in the yard here with the other dogs

list of dogs, we cant stand to see aninals mis treated , so we started with one . and you know the rest from there .

    chocolate lab brother ,
    black lab sister
miniture rat terrier - he will never go - gets on my nerves, and might get lost in arkansas ! lol - J/K
Mut breed- but good , like a lab ,chow mix- he will never go ! he is the protector

Ya-you should have no problem takin em with you if thats what u choose. I know they have a pet deposit just dont remember what it was. I never took mine with me--cant see havin to take care of a Pitt on the road! LOL So--my kids take care of her at home. I know many had bigger dogs so no big issue there--Good luck to you and they are not that bad just stay out of log violations and you will be ok! Just be prepared when you go into terminals for service to be there a while! LOL :biggrin_2559:

I know a driver for Werner, and he told me for a pet less than 35 pounds, it's a $500 deposit. If it weighs more than 35 pounds, it's 2x that, so $1000. I don't know if that was true or not, but you might want to ask the people in the orientation.

So they don't have a size limit for the pets? If I can take my Great Dane that would be a plus!!!

I am not sure if they have a size limit or not. If they don't, then that would be 2 companies that I know of (Werner, and Watkins & Shepard). I don't know about other companies that require a year or more of experience. There could be more. But I do know that the majority require them to be small dogs.

My wife keeps saying the same thing about my Choc Lab. He's also the best dog I've ever owned.
    You know what she's right!!
