Forgot to ask... Do trainer trucks have bunks or d'ya hotbunk? (Since I'm nocturnal by nature hotbunk is not really problematic)

(Don't mind this post.. killing my last one so I can finally PM!)

All melton trucks are double bunk. You are not permitted in the bunk while the truck is moving (mainly because you will be doing most of the driving lol) and as far as I know trainers don't run as team.
-
I think thats going to be the toughest adjustment. Doing ALL the driving for 11 hours a day. Gets tiring when you're worried about making a sparkly impression
But hey..extra bunk once solo just means extra space to store stuff!
-
And your kids! Lol
-
Eh..just one kid.. If I get through the trainer phase by August, my youngest will come out with me for the month. The oldest isn't interested, and the other is in the process of moving to Stillwater so I'll see her any time I'm through Tulsa.

How can a child not want to be stuck in a cramped 10x8 space with momma 24/7?! Makes no sense!
-
I know right?! Nothing like driving right by all the crap you ever wanted to see like the biggest ball of twine in Minnesota and NOT being able to see it. Or just look at miles and miles and miles of asphalt!

My internet sucks so I am going to keep it brief ,
Drug tests I don't do drugs so I wasn't worried but they shaved a bunch of my lower leg and I left looking sexy smooth on just one side of my left shin so kinda weird too.
The many of the older trucks only had a lower bunk ( my first one ) but all the newer ones have the double, trianer truck will have 2 and I have heard about some of the latest ones having a slightly bigger cab for more room , you will get the top bunk and I am sure the trainer won't want you to be on his at all ( I have no idea if women trainers are different meaning if women care about other women being on their bunk ).
Kids having fun on the road - mine is having a blast but he likes to bug me at home so he has most of his fun just hanging out with me and asking me lots and lots of questions. you see tons of cool stuff so every day brings something new it seems. He saw a jacknife on the side of the road and told me about it for hours. Counts roadkill when he is bored, having the tv makes nights a lot more less boring .
Anyways did about 2400 last week with no tarps at all , this week I did a load from NC to Mn tarper and we'll see what else happens ! -
My boy has Aspberger's Syndrome so he'll either be thrilled or it'll be a miserable few weeks for him. I'll be sure to take his DS with for sure. You have a TV? Schweet. What sort of channels do you get on it? Your own sattelite? (Yep. Still full of questions.. and now *I* want to see the biggest ball of twine in MN...)
