That's almost what I do. My golden retriever is on my truck with me. Nobody knows. And the shippers/receivers love it when she jumps in my seat when I get out to strap/tarp. But... I am lease.

I saw guys walking around the spingmo yard with 70 pound pitbulls so if you are on the lease side just bring your dog. if you try to train anybody down the road then it may become an issue but if its just you and 75 pound fido goin solo on the lease side then nobody will ever say jack about it.

If you decide to train it will definatly be a problem. Not maybe. Trainers and instructors are not allowed to have animals on their truck. Trainer and trainees can get both get fired for not following the rules. The trainee for having read the rules, and then allowing the trainer to not follow the rules.

i was there in Safety the day a trainee wrecked a truck and blamed his trainers dog for getting "under his feet" between the pedals. Trainee thought he was in the clear, and he got fired.

If you are gonna be a company driver, I would follow the rule. If something was to happen somewhere and you needed to be transported home or back to a terminal without your truck, Prime will say "tough luck" to your animal for not following the rules.

Every rule someone thinks is "dumb" at Prime was usually the result of someone (or multiple people) being a moron. I've been around long enough to not get charged for snow chains. Some idiot decided to sell his in a truck stop and then claim he needed new ones. So now company guys but their chains.

Did you mean company guys but their own chains?
I would never work for any company that requires me to buy any thing for the job, company driver means driver to me ,company wont buy chains i wont drive for them in the snow.

I guess that would be a good question to ask a employer, "do i have to buy my own snow chains"?

It's real simple... if you want to steal the companies property and sell it at the truckstop, that's fine. But now you have your own skin in the game, and you'll just have to shell out more for new ones later. Makes selling company property a rather stupid venture.

BTW, Prime will happily buy them back when you decide to leave.

The thing I learned about snow chains was to leave them in the bad unopened when I got my new truck I had to buy chains for the wide singles I never opened the bag and when I turned them in I got full price back no problems

Well i am not a thief so i wouldn't be selling anything that the company owns, but being a company driver i wouldn't buy anything with out reimbursment to keep the truck rolling.
