I'm sorry but where does diesel become an explosive? We get enough bad press when reporters go to a tanker truck accident and report such misinformed information. But coming from a truck driver is just something we do not need. However, I do agree with you about the brakes. With that much weight he could have had more problems if he didn't take any action and just drove on. I would say single the bad tire out. Travel at night and very slow. If you do not you may find popping more tires due to the heat. That's a lot of weight on those trip axles. I'm sure by now you've already made you move so please tell us what happen. I had to replace 4 tires on a triple axle trailer and the road call out to me was not all that bad.

 

When its T-Mix that is 70% gas 10% nitro glycerin and 20% Diesel... LOL. Hey, you asked.

 

I can see that. You ever see a reporter cover a gasoline truck turnover, They will say the truck weight is 9000lbs and they spilled 80,000 gallons.

The truck is going to explode.

The truck is only leaking out of the fuel tank so it should take awhile for it to stop.

The reporting is so atrocious they never get it right. We are told never ever talk to anyone at the sense except the authorities. That could have came from the one driver that jump out of the truck and told everyone "Don't worry the company will pay for everything". He could have got fired tho!!! But no we never talk to the press.

 

Witnessed a guy once being pulled over when he was going to shipper and the second time after he was loaded and just made the turn to leave.
