Just a note, a prior thread on TTR showed as a CDL holder the ticket cannot be masked. In other words dropped from one charge to a lesser charge.

    Does not matter.

    http://www.fmcsa.dot.gov/rules-regul...px?reg=384.226

§ 384.226Prohibition on masking convictions. The State must not mask, defer imposition of judgment, or allow an individual to enter into a diversion program that would prevent a CLP or CDL holder's conviction for any violation, in any type of motor vehicle, of a State or local traffic control law (other than parking, vehicle weight, or vehicle defect violations) from appearing on the CDLIS driver record, whether the driver was convicted for an offense committed in the State where the driver is licensed or another State.

It may not suppose to happen but it does , everyday sir. Anybody that's ever lived in California knows they have there own rules. Second you only did the offense if your found guilty. So if your not found guilty it didn't happen. It's just a simple loophole .....

It is for the charge as well.

Sooner or later, you will find compliance being in effect and then the problem will be there. It happens across the country as they understand the rules.

It's not what you think , and does not work how u think . But all I can do is tell you . I would think since i live in Cali I should know right, I've personally experienced it I should know. But up to the person what they do with info I provided if he need the number I will provide. But he will pay bail no matter if he's found not guilty or what

I do not agree with the fmcsa and their rules. Been in place since 2005 and most jurisdictions were lax on this and in 2011 they came back out and made it known again in the hope of getting compliance.

Many states still did not adhere to the rules. It appears California is one of them.

I am just saying to not get used to it, because sooner or later, they will be forced to comply with the federal law on CDL's for drivers subject to the FMCSA rules.
