A rolling restart yeah done it. Its crazy. Who can really sleep in a movong truck.

Where is anne ferro on this team driving stuff. Its all about fatigue driving.

Anne Ferro, has to change the Hos add a break. 34 sets harder.Dot mandated Sleep apnea testing. mandated c-pap machine. There is too many fatigue drivers on the road. sound the alarms. red lights& bells.

Just put them in a truck that bounce, roll & hops you right out of your bed. This isnt anythang like Sleep Apnea fatigue. Is it.

Sleep Apnea= is a sleeping disorder characterized by pauses in breathing. Each pause is a apnea. That can last few seconds.

Breathing is interrupted by soft pallet blocking airway. The efforts or snoring. short pauses. than load snoring.

In which the drive cant enter deep sleep( there is a word for that cant remember),This makes you fatigue.

What the Hick does she thank about being bounced down the road. This is ok.Oh, This way you want just kill your self. you take your co drive with you.

These mega carriers with these team drive split miles @ 26cpm.To drive just as many miles as a driver that got 40cpm. That got to stop and shower, sit down meal & sleep in a non moving truck. For the whole trip.

mega carriers are shutting the door on smaller companies. Because they can under bid & get it there faster.

Because thier makeing money off 20 trucks. Instead of 1 or 2. An o/o cant bid so low.

And!!And Pay driver smaller amounts. Where drivers cant make money & end up staying out for months at a time because they cant affored to come home.

They beleive them,Because the mega carries tell them its not greener on the other side.

    Brain washed.

Anyway you cant fix stupid. That go with S for Anne Ferro.

There are companies that are not paying their drivers for the 30 minute break.Friend of mine is losing 2 1/2 hours a week of pay because of the 30 minute break period. It will cost him around $3,000 in wages per year.It will probably happen to us too since we are paid by the hour and have to top line that 30 minute break. They now want us to match our logs with the work sheet.

Why should they be paid for an off duty break ? Nobody loses any time on the week . Off duty time doesn't count on the 70 in 8 .

He's most likely talking about local since he mentions hourly pay, and most likely the company will not have drivers come in an extra day to make up that 2 1/2 - 3 hours lost during the week. So yes, they would lose pay time in the week. Not everyone only worries about the 70.

This is where incentive based pay for local helps out. The trailer magically unloads some while you took a 30 minute break and you get paid the same. With hourly, if you're not on duty, you're not getting paid.
