Last week, the shipper we work for as a dedicated division of CR England didn't have the product ready for my load on time. We do not get detention as per our contract with the company we are dedicated to.

I told my dm the 8 hour wait was unreasonable so she told me she would get England to pay me for waiting. As per usual I assumed this to be a lie. This week however a $100 payment billed out to unspecified labor came with my paycheck for the day in question.

I think hell might have just frozen over. A promise of funds outside of a detention agreement actually paid, i thought that wad the stuff of fairy tales.

Some dispatchers keep their promises. Some may need reminders. Some just dont GAD.. Sounds like you have a good one. and Wow! thats more than I ever got for waiting. The most I ever got was $40.

Yes that was good. I had gone to pick up a load and got put into a door at the shipper After sitting there for hours and hours I got a message from Upper management saying thanks but the load cancealed. Disagreement between shipper and receiver But I was given an attaboy message from upper management. SO be thankful
