How good of a discount do you get at Hertz? We usually rent though them because my husband and father in law use to work for them and they seem to be the cheaper company to go with, my father in law puts in on his credit card because he has insurance on his card and AAA discount.I think were getting a SUV for 200 for the week. Also if your familiar with the area got a great deal at the Park Inn and Suites hotel it's over by the Cowboys Hall of Fame, sitting at the Shell Truck Stop checking into the hotel in the morning. Thought we were going to have to change plans again. Already had to change it because of coming in 2 days early but then half way home they send us a Preplan picking up tomorrow in OKC going to West Memphis terminal for same day, of course this happened while our FM was on lunch and no one read where it said will be going home so had to call and try and get it taken off, thankfully FM got it removed. Well see everyone in aweek have a great 4th and weekend be safe !!!

Honestly it varies when it comes to miles, my husbands miles in the last few weeks have average 2200-2500 but others on here have ran more, just really depends on where you are at. As for the insurance I'm not sure what the family runs, I know for my husband and I it's 57.50 awk, the insurance is decent. Back in Feb my husband (while on the road) had to go into the hospital for a massive blood clot in his lung, his hospital bill was 35,000 , with insurance and the discount they got us we now just owe alil over 3000. Also he now has to take a blood thinner which out of pocket is $200 amth, but Conway insurance got us a great deal with Walgreens to get it for $10 copay. Every company has it's up and downs but my husband loves Conway and would not change companies unless someone offered him a position that let him be home nightly or weekly and paid $25 an hr lol which is hard to find. LOL Hope some people haven't ran you away. Conway is a great company to work for !!

Also if it helps he just received his vacation pay for the year and his average miles a week for the last year was 2472 ..............HAPPY 4th OF JULY !!! :biggrin_255:

I just seem to find a company that's gonna match what I'm making now when I factor in the cost of insurance. I gross on average 800 a week an if I wanted to I could be home every weekend. I am choosing to stay out 2 weeks at a time now. An the insurance is free for me and my kids. It's just the paychecks aren't consistent enough for me. One week ill have 6 loads and gross 800 next week ill have 4 loads and gross 500 or 600. I like consistency in my paychecks.
