I don't think the fuses are the issue and they don't want me using fleet-net or Freightliner. They wanna get me through to a yard. I'm in freaking Laredo.

Mine was also not blowing cold air. I took it to Laurinburg (why I don't know) and they had me take it to Freightliner. They ended up replacing the whole unit. The bill was almost 6k!!! My truck is a 2012 also, so it wasn't very old!

The problem is not the fuses...but you have to pull the fuses to completely kill the power to the unit...after a few minutes with no power, the unit resets itself.
It works for 2013 trucks...12's may be different. -
Mine is also a 2012. I can't find any fuses in the side box. Mine is the one mounted under the side of the cab instead of up top. Gary wouldn't do anything they also wanted me to take it to Freightliner. I'll just deal with it until I go home and then I'll let Freightliner have it for the weekend.
Made it to De Witt, IA with 3 minutes left on my 14. Picking up a Preload some time tomorrow headed for De Soto, TX for a Thursday AM delivery. This load will put me at 2770 miles for the week with 2 tarps. Still plenty of time to get another 500-1000 miles in before Saturday night. Might get pretty close to 4k miles this week if things work out right. -
I have a 13. I took all of the fuses (all 8 of them) out, waited 5 minutes and put them back in. Still not working. Fan is blowing fine but it is hot air. They said no to sending me to Freightliner. So I guess they are going to route me through LR or Gary. Much prefer Gary, but we will see.
Headed back up to WF for a preload. Taking vacation in Chicago this weekend to see the sites, play the tourist for a bit. -

I had the same thing happen with my APU in my first truck. Turns out it was a leak in the primary coolant loop, or so they said. Apparently 1 out of every 3 APUs on the 2011 and 2012 trucks failed, and parts were very hard to come by.
It took them 34 days total to get the part they needed to fix it. My MPG was down to 3.1 after idling the truck every night for a month. -

Thankfully, my FM gave me "permission" to idle until its fixed. There goes my 7.3 average.
