Millis will take you on in Danbury. They are not a bad company to start out with or stay. That's where I got my start.

    The Challenger Thanks this.

I looked them up, seems like a nice outfit and they have a school, too. My only concern is that 2 years ago I got a speeding greater than 15 over in my car. They say no major traffic infractions in the last 5 years, I wonder if this counts? Otherwise my driving and criminal records are clean.

Millis will take you. They are a pretty good company too. Always consider them my back up plan should I feel the need to leave Gordon for some reason.. I have learned in trucking that it is best to always have a backup plan. .you never know. ..lol

Not to get off Gordon but I researched Millis after reading this and got pretty excited about them. I just called a recruiter to get info and she said they don't hire from CT. Maybe I should start a thread in the Millis area to see if any other drivers are from Connecticut because both 84 and 95 run through this state so I find it hard to accept that I am out of their area.

Glad things are going well for you Joseph.

Sounds like some stuff got fixed since I left.

Will Continue to watch this thread for how things are going.

It is where freight originates and delivers that matters. Freight "running through" won't get you home
