well...Monday, I got pulled over, at the scale house in DC, and was asked what I was hauling.....just said....I don't know...here's the bills...it's a Proctor And Gamble load....Oh wait....I have Oil Of Olay on here, you use that stuff? The officer(REALLY YOUNG GUY) didn't know whether to laugh or cry and the older officer was in tears with laughter! lol

 

Now dinky , we are not to have a battle of wits with a unarmed person. It's just not fair!

 

they were driving Crime Scene Enforcement vehicles.....they were looking for someone! Maybe my DM? lol I had it happen to me up in NJ, if you guys remember me talking about it this past winter!

 

well...some people will like this, some won't! Guess I'm pretty "hunkered" down here! FINALLY got signed up on 401k! Since DM has been giving me the "run around" on it....I finally talked to HR and called the 800 number! Hafta be an employee for 3 years before you get to keep the match! Makes sense to me! MOST companies ask that you stay on for 5 years or more with the kind of match we get! I'd be a complete FOOL to quit within 3 years being on it! Well, next is me, sdaniels, and flying's plan for world domination and coup of the company! hahaha actually, get my DM to COOK ME DINNER!!!!!!!!! lol I might hafta go Indiana Jones on them, if they don't!

 

Since you brought up the master plan... Just returned from the N C Trucking Association annual conference . Britt is the new chairman. Exciting times ahead.

 

well this morning wasn't so exciting! DON'T STAY AT Simmons Travel Center at exit 8 off I-95 in VA! I had 130 gallons of fuel siphoned out of my truck when I was sleeping! Funny how I was parked around really bright lights....nobody was beside me when I parked...or left! Had 7/8 of a full tank and when I was leaving noticed I had almost less than 1/8! Passenger side tank was bone dry! Never had that happen before!

 

Fuel thieves don't take long. Have only had that happen once, at another company. One the customer yard. Only our companies trucks around. Was running one of the switchers all night. Had just fueled that afternoon. Next morning had 1/4 tank.

 

Hope all the EPES drivers are having a safe weekend.

 

And yeah, all the other drivers out there. Didn't mean to exclude every non-EPES driver in the country.
