    AT&T - 15%

    http://www.corp.att.com/gov/bb10/

Veterans, please visit a local store and bring your DD form 214 for an AT&T associate to validate in our system. Mention FAN code 4085530.

    Verizon - 15%

    https://www.verizonwireless.com/b2c...eItem&action=discountEligibility&noMatch=true

    ________________

Military - Take in your DD-214 to either AT&T or Verizon to a corporate store.

    http://www.verizonwireless.com/b2c/storelocator/index.jsp

    http://www.att.com/maps/store-locator.html#fbid=69Sj26gfQ2D

They will not accept your Military ID, as the Military forbids them to copy an ID card.

Non-Vets - Fill in the forms as noted on AT&T and Verizon. Be sure to submit a paystub (black out all pay info), the two companies will validate the company you work for and if they might be on the list so you would be eligible for a discount also.

dont know all the company discounts but Swift I believe is 17% for ATT and sprint

I dont use my company, i am still setup from when i used to work for a Honda R&D test track and when i went to update stuff at the att store the associate told me to keep quiet since my discount is even better than military so left it alone the past couple years.

I wouldn't use AT&T if they paid me. Worst coverage out there and they have had to pay up in several class action suits. I filed an FCC complaint to have overcharges refunded.

This thread was to let others know about discounts available, not to bash any of the companies.

The reason I posted this as others who have discounts already I was just notified to validate my discount. If you have a current discount be prepared to validate that again. It took about 4 years since I started the discount before I was asked to validate.

Rickg, not only have they overcharged people on their accounts, AT&T and verizon and sprint engage in the termination fee which has been ruled illegal in California. I've been charged $350 for a termed line by sprint, but their service wouldn't work when I was driving a target refrigerated dedicated route from phx to Denver.

This has contributed in the rise of contract free carriers like straight talk and its amazing how these big carriers refuse to see the writing on the wall that people are sick and tired of paying $110 a month for service when they hear of others getting the same service using the same providers network for half $45

only reason I stick with ATT since I have the unlimited data plan, if Verizon offered it then i would change. Those cheap pay to use companies offer "unlimited" but throttle you after 2gb a month or if you use too much they shut it off. I use 20-30gb a month on the road.
