Purchased my 2000 W900L back in April and has sat since now with the exception of 1 trip don to the truck stop for fuel back in May on Mother's Day. Now all of a sudden my brake pedal is sticking to the floor. It's not really grabbing the brakes until I really stomp the brake pedal and then the brakes lockup. I sprayed some WD-40 under the pedal and worked it back and forth but no luck. When I push the pedal the brake lights stay on until I manually pull the pedal back up off the floor. Any suggestions on what could possibly be the issue?

Pull out the pin that the pedal pivots on. Clean the pin off with a scotchbrite pad or emory cloth and grease the pin with a white lithium grease. Get the correct size drill bit and slowly and carefully clean out the slides that the pivot pin run through. Put it all back together and enjoy your new free brake pedal.

mh60l is correct...drove a 2003 W9 awhile..if it sat for too long the brake pedal would stick, and the lights stay on, as would the brakes...looking under pedal and seeing rust on everything i pretty much did what is described above and it ended problem...i didnt use a drill bit i used a copper wire 22 caliber gun cleaning barrel tool which did the job....dont forget the lithium or the problem will return rather quickly...

Mine does the same thing when I park it for a month or two. I spray wd40 or some such on it, work it back and forth, it will free up. You can remove the pin at the base if it is real bad and clean that up with sandpaper, oil it, put it back together. They get sticky when a truck sits.

I used steel wool #0000 and glitz metal polish with cotton cloth it became shiny inside out, for 2006 W9 remove pedal boot and then remove Cotter pin and take out roller and pin also clean make it shiny put it back. Last clean as same and lubricate 2nd pin holding Pedal which was sticking and holding brake pedall and it will be as new
    Thanks mh60l

I was thinking maybe a fried chicken bone was wedged in it somehow.
