What are my recaps worth?

Check the date of the caseing, Check to see how many times it has been capped. If it is a caseing that is only a couple years old and this is the first time capped a closed shoulder tire such as that should bring 200-225 without a problem.

 

don't sell to a tire guy, post them on Craig's list.

 

sometimes it's better lose a few bucks then loading ,unloading , placing the ad, scheduling show times, showing to perspective buyers etc...

 

That is a low retail price like one you would get from your normal tire supplier, places such as truck stops or road service companies will be closer to 300 or 350 for that tire. the company we get our tires through gives us 90.00 a piece to turn in our virgin caseing. 125 is on the light side but if you dont want to deal with the headache of selling them out right than maybe try to squeeze 150 a piece from them and get them out of your hair. Call a TA and see what a Bangdag recap cost, you'd be suprised at how *cheap* a recap is....
