I don't let them let me sit. If I don't have another load when I get within an hour of getting to the drop. I am calling and asking what you got for me. I now have a fresh 70. So sitting is not an option.

This is what I get as a company drive a load someone dropped at the yard that is a day late going to Houston. So I have to call for new appt time and of course now I have to sit here until they can fit me in all for maybe 230mi.

Then I get to go maybe 30mi down the road and wait on my next load which I'm already late for because I'm sitting here
and take to plainview.3wks in a row barely 1500mi total I pretty much have given up on otr (tl) with this place

I honestly don't think they want you to stay after your year is up because they need room for all the new people each week that come here.I sure hope for your guys sake kllm runs things a whole lot better than it is now.

Are you a team driver or LTL? Do you live in Florida?

I had slow weeks as a company driver, but, if I had a slow week one week, the next was usually really good. I don't think I would have stayed if my checks were consistently that low. Good luck if you do leave.

You might consider calling Ron Briden and see if you can get on the LTL line hall board, check with Rooster about his experience, but from mine it is very consistent.

If anyone is interested, Sam's Club (not sure all of them have this) has a wagon that folds up into a neat little package that fits behind your seat or under your bunk. Comes in handy for hauling your groceries back to the truck and if you go on a family trip somewhere. The wagon cost $55.

That explains it. I would give anything to get on that board. I just don't know who to contact or what it takes.
