I just recap. Normally do nine a day or so. Ten some days, and then you get that crap five hour day but whatever. I like it.

 

Dinky didn't I JUST tell you last week that every time jack has my board I blow a tire? ####### guy is 4 for 4. wtf? i'm going to have to find out when he's got the board and just take that #### week off. it never is a good week when he's on there. I like the guy don't get me wrong but every time he's on there I have a bad week.

this one blew good and proper too......left rear outer......BOOM and the rubber goes flying and it wrapped itself around the mudflap hanger and pulled the hanger in almost to the inner tire. just sheer luck it didn't slice and blow the inner too.

ran out of time sitting there waiting for the service truck and still had to fuel. finally rolling again and get to the tiny pilot where I got fuel and one spot open.....except an oversize in there and no room to squeeze in between him and the other guy. ####.

go on up 15 miles to the next truckstop in the book. checked it on the map to get the lay of getting in and out and roll off the exit and start to make the right into the lot and there's a ####### trailer pulled across the entrance with a big sign saying 'sorry, we closed'......#### again and now have to figure out how to turn around and get back to the highway. don't ask and I won't tell lol

finally up 15 more miles to the rest are and there's 2 spots and I was able to get into one of them. now got 11:20 to go tomorrow to colonial heights. should be interesting but I think I can make that up and get there with no time left on that many miles. I make up that much on the Lakeland trip every time I get it so I should be right on it getting there.

he's retired! Only fills in the #### spots for guys that need that "bad luck", I guess! lol Made it to Richmond ABC for drop. Next is Chester yard, I need a wiper blade BAD! quick shower, then off to....wherever! It better not be 95 above this city, or I'll be PI$$ED! For the love of.....JACK...get me off 95 north of Richmond! lol

 

sidepocket.....who's your DM out of Chester...the older guy, or younger guy? They both seem really great to work with!

 

I've got Russell. The older guy. Zero complaints with him. I can name a couple that I've had out of Greensboro though that I'd just drop my keys off in a box if I got.

 

Btw.
Kavins the other guy. He gets me on his board occasionally and he does a #### good job too.


Waiting down here in Miami now. Live unload this morning that took three hours. Waiting for a live load here on 27th street now that'll take me back up to Richmond. Then I'm headed home.

 

Hope you have better luck there than I did yesterday lol I was there 4 1/2 hrs. Poor TSE guy that was already there when I got there still didn't have his paperwork when I left.

 

Well...back at "home away from home" at Chester yard...AGAIN! gonna be here until early in the night/am hours, then up to Minersville! And I've heard ALL KINDS of stories from other drivers about other DM's in G'boro! muahahahaha
funny story. Was looking for someone in the lounge that needed an empty...called it out...GOT AN EMPTY FOR SOMEONE WHO NEEDS IT! haha as small as I am....thought I was gonna be attacked by a pack of wolves! lol 4 guys at once! I just said...it's only 1....you guys figure out who gets it, coin flipping, whatever! They finally agreed on who gets it...this guy had a STRAIGHT UP Satellite Dish on the back of his cab!(ONE FOR A TV) I just said, man that must suck setting up all the time. He said it was for his satellite RADIO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NOT TV!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ok...we're 13'6 with the dish mounted ABOVE his cab, ONLY for satellite radio, no tv(from what he said!) he was atleast about 14'2 high! lmao I just showed him my setup and said, all you need is a freaking PLAIN OLD RECIEVER and mount it on your mirror...NO PROBLEM! Well, I don't have signal through WVA on 77 through the THICK MOUNTAINS....I can go 2 hours without it......oh HE COULDN'T! lol Flying will love this one.....NO LOW BRIDGES! lmao guess he goes the OVERHEIGHT WAYS! lmfao!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh yeah....there's this "one little lonely loaded" trailer all by itself...that 15 guys keep thinking is empty....wonder how high my count can go before I pass out! hehe

Just about the same luck. Four hours. Four long #### hours waiting on that #### road. I did catch a food truck though, I love me some food truck food. Only made 173 up the road, sitting here at a rest area for the night. They are just gonna have to deal with it. I don't go over hours for anything except slipping into the house.

Off topic thought. I'm moving to Texas! Maybe. At least I'd like to.

 

Thanks a bunch dink. I'm probably not even gonna hit the Chester yard if I can help it. Probably drop in Chester and high tail it to the house. Got a little girl with a birthday party I have to make happy. And due to the bull of today, it looks like I won't be up there till Saturday morning.
