According to some 49 is too high and ok to others .I really won't know till I hook up to one of hub groups rail boxes and measure it myself. I should have left it alone till I got the truck home first.oh well Live and learn. I have to to do a day of company orientation next wed. I guess i'll just take the truck there when I go and hook to one the hub empties and see...then adjust accordingly.
    thanks,

All of my trailers are 13'6" and never had a problem in the Northeast. Hate to say it, but I'm thinking you blew some money and time on this.

I think your right......too late now. will have to deal with it....I appreciate the input....funny thing is being a company driver for so long I never had to worry about these things .trucks were specd out and I drove them as they were....I knew I was gonna hit some bumps in the road becoming a new O/O.......Hind site is 20/20. I'm sure there are more challenges waiting for me ahead. will post my findings after wed...

If there is 2" of difference in diameter between the LP tires and the tall rubber it will only change the distance from the top of the tire to the fifth wheel 1". 1" of the height difference is below the rim and 1" is above the rim.

Man you have not done wrong yet. The high legs are for flatbed and other on-off road applications, like logging. The low legs are whats normal for box trailers.

    Gliderpilot Thanks this.

so what do you think is an acceptable DISTANCE between the top of the drive tires and the bottom of the Van or rail container. Right now I have 4.5 inches from the top of the FW plate and tires(11R24.5) drive tires are 90% at 43 and FW plate is 47.5 from the ground.......I'm gonna test fit it tomorrow then go from there.
