Technically you can't do that. Even if the local job isn't driving, hours worked still counts toward the total. While the odds of being caught are very low, if something happens like a wreck with injuries, the lawyers will find out and you'll be in a very bad situation. Being over on your hours can make you liable for everything that happened, even if it's just some drunk that runs a red light and hits you.

Working 7 days a week is going to burn you out. Running 2 logbooks is illegal. If you are in an accident, the lawyers will have a field day.

No surprise, he was just showing the stupidity of some people he has had to write up, and all the "I hate the government" tea party dimwits started in on him instead keeping it in the politics section. Or like the old saying goes.. "This is why we can't have nice things!!" :biggrin_25510:

I liked the guy but he had some pretty thin skin, unlike scalemaster. Ah well, free for all thread. Cause I know we all see something dumb at least once a week, sometimes once a day. Like the lady on my bus who can't drive so I'm driving her route for her yelling at the kids to be quiet, only I hardly notice them way in the back and she's right next to me. And now she has a megaphone...

It had nothing to do with the Tea Party. It was the dim wits, that can't handle being in the wrong in the first place.

You know misterG, you have to love the irony of an ^^idiot who demonstrates his lack of intelligence while trying to insult that of someone else. Scary as crap how some people just accept what the media feeds them, and regurgitate it without thinking.

Here is one for ya, I know a guy that was driving for over a year with NO LICENSE AT ALL, I'm not saying he didn't have a CDL, I am saying he didn't even have a drivers license, they were taken away from him for drunk driving. Right now he is driving without a CDL.
