My first co-phase hookup with two 4ft francis antenna's reveals 1.5 across the board am I good to go?Iknow the francis antenna is non-tunable right? How do I know if the are in tune with eachother? It seems to be working fine this is my first time around co-phasing.

Sounds like you are good to go. SWR of 1.5 should be fine with a regular power CB . :biggrin_25517:

thats true.... if both antennas are 1.5 you are good, but their is no way to test that really..... except put a meter in line before both antennas. (two meters) as long as the frances's came pretuned the same, and you mounted them the same they have good grounds that are ... the same.... then your good to go.... tuneable tip antennas are deff the way to go when co phasing, i use 4' wilson silverloads

If they were out of tune with eachother would that cause higher swr's?
