I remember when I was there they had that same deal, so I stayed out Thanksgiving, and then ran the California dedicated til Christmas, 2 days before hometime they sat me in Marshalltown until Christmas Eve, then gave me a load to Memphis that delivered the day after Christmas, the problem is I live 300 miles east of Memphis, they offered me 800.00 extra to run the load, so I did, I also ran 300 miles oor went home and delivered in Memphis the day after Chrsitmas, and then went back home for 4 days!

when are you Jbs drivers going to realize that Jbs does not care one bit about you. You are just a tool just like their trucks. I've been gone from Midwest regional for over 10 months now and I have hardly any hassles in my current job. As long as Darrin Taylor and that fat slob safety director are there the company will continue to suck. Also read on here that a Jbs recruiter told a potential hire that Midwest regional is averaging 2700 or more miles a week. A flat out LIE.
hrdman2luv Thanks this. -
And good luck on that time off for Thanksgiving and Christmas. To me no job is worth missing Christmas with my family. Its pretty obvious that Jbs not only doesn't give a #### about you , they also have no concept about family values.

hrdman2luv and Dinomite Thank this.

I don't believe anybody thinks any trucking company gives a rats butt about anybody. I have been here 3 years plus. I have not had a problem with the safety director or Darren Taylor. If you go to a company thinking they are going to kiss your butt. You are in for a rude awakening. You are only there to make them money. They are paid to keep the company profitable. It's called Work. You work for them. They don't necessarily have to work with you, and since this industry is so bottom of the barrel. They can give you the very least and still have an orientation room full of people who were treated worse at the previous job. Who will think this is paradise.
Glad you don't have issues with your current job. Hopefully it will stay that way. I could if I wanted to turn in my load that was just relayed and have probably over 4700 miles coming on the next pay check. But all that money would go to Uncle Sam. So will save my 600 mile load and add it to the next weeks load. Wish I could of kept it lower then 4100. Uncle sam is still going to take a chunk out of that one. I hope I don't get a fuel bonus put on that check either. Only had 1800 paid miles for the previous week. So in the end it all equals out. Current load that has 827 miles on it. So by Friday I'll have 1400 miles for the coming pay period. I'll be running on recap hours so not sure how many more miles I can get. I don't think its a stretch to think I can get another 1500 miles in before Wednesday, but we will see. Two Good pay checks back to back is definitely in the game plan. -
I don't care about all the who likes me and who doesn't and all that other BS transportation crap lol. I do care about family and if I have to quit, I will be going home for Christmas so I am not to worried about it. I have two years otr with a clean record I am sure I can find something just as good or better.

I do know that they keep tabs on this forum. I was actually told my posts were being read and what the content of my posts were by someone in safety. "Just Sayin" be careful to use a user name other than your real name.
