I am here... in PA. It's a medium size Pilot but I arrived very early and found a good parking spot where I am "safe" and hopefully will not have much difficulty leaving early in the morning. :yes2557:

Will deliver about 10 miles from here in the morning and then rushing to NJ for another p/up and then back to Oklahoma City... :yes2557:

It never came up until I brought it up but the trip to Jersey never came about.
Got 4 delivery tickets. Wasted about two and a half hours at United for a paperwork error. Dispatch said he'd get me two hours of detention pay. We'll see.

In the morning I'm to pick up two pallets of Hazmat of some sort at 4,500# in Deer Park and take it to South Houston. After that get a pallet and two crates at SDV for Air France.
There was a concern that had I gone to Jersey what I would miss while I gone and it might be more pay. I doubt it!

Loading in Drain, OR in the morning....parked at the closest rest area (Cottage Grove-ish) ...... some nimrod planner (we only have one so guess who!) decided that with a 10am appointment at Sysco Wilsonville, and the product(s) is regularly a 4 hour unload due to break down of pallets/stacks, and the 18 different items in said pallets/stacks....figured that this truck could get unloaded and drive 140 miles to p/u before 1500!

Now....to plug in the speakers and watch my Pirates of the Caribbean movie!

You only had 18 items? That's a gravy load going into Sysco. The one down in LA (Walnut?) used make us break down our boxed meat by date. Small wood, of course. You'd end up with 60-80 pallets for a partial load. Sure do miss that!

Home, headed to town for the homecoming parade, probably get back in the truck next week. Maybe. Lol!

Not feeling well may have been the understatement of the year. It's been so long since I've been sick I was in some serious denial. I have the flu so yesterday was 16 hours of hell. Almost passed out trying to open my hopper doors and at my pick up in Indiana got overloaded and had to have someone open the door for me because I wasn't strong enough to even turn the crank.

At home today, being very glad there is a bathroom nearby. :biggrin_2552:
