Has anyone ever attempted or successfully expanded their business to open up a US division? What all might be involved? Where might I find this kinda info??

OK...this will be a completely separate entity. The trucks that I wish to run in the US will never see or share freight with the Canadian fleet I already have.

It's not very hard. I had a girl in Barstow set up everything from the corporation to the prorate account. We rented a shop in Indianapolis and became an American carrier, bought trucks there as well. She got pregnant and retired though so I can't hook you up. Google can help though. Try looking up Hirsch & Joyce in Buffalo they were really good to walk you thru the steps.
