Dave... you are not here.... I am here. Sitting in a corner at the receiver, after delivery... not bothering anybody... waiting for next load assignment.... maybe another broker load. I don't like waiting for load assignments after deliveries, and then, when I get the load assignment, having to call broker to get all the info, directions etc, and then having to rush to customer.... and then having to plan the rest of my day on the go... Just saying.... If this waiting takes one more hr, I think will go to Pilot... it's only one mile from here. But much quieter here...

I was delivering in Oshkosh a few years ago, and a flight of four of them went over. Talk about sending chills down the spine! There is no other sound like that!

That's where I'm at, CS. I'm not picking anything up except my ice pack and trying to take some of the swelling out of my knee.

I was able to hear the cars over at the KS Speedway when I got home. Sounded really cool.

My 12:00 CUTOFF was not ready until dispatch got the idiot to send the papers out.
At Air France a TSA person gave me a warning for not watching my truck like a hawk.
Number two was supposed to be a Peiican Case at FMC. But after waiting 45 minutes some things were wrong so I got two cartons instead.
Number three was drag the trailer down to Alvin.Pick up 6 pallets (really only 5) of Hazmat that went up to a place not too far from the office. Dropped and clear at 16:45. No more even a peep from dispatch so took the trailer back to the truckstop and got home 18:50
