Okay, I'll just wait till its time to hand out new trucks. Thanks guys, and it's set at 65mph, not 62. It's not mine, so I'll keep oil and coolant in it and drive the wheels off of it.

It needs to go to the shop. Even a cutback truck shouldn't run that weak.
-
Breakdown thought so also, that's why it got fuel filters, and it won't do a regeneration since there is no code or lights. I just don't want be "that driver" putting it in the shop and they can't figure it out.

loves2truck Thanks this.

i have an isx 450. the most horses i can get is 350.
out of 4 trucks. i've only seen one that climbed better. and that one had the ecm reflashed and stripped of all company settings.
it also got the best fuel mileage. go figure., -
First offf, you have a 9 speed trans not an 8. Low counts as a gear, and Pete isn't specking 8 speeds on the new trucks. It sound to me like your truck is just tuned back on the computer. Will it get to 60+ on the flats?
-
It sad, a lot of companies buy these truck cut the horse power, they can govern the speed with out cut the horse power, Just doesn't make much sense to me
-
It will do 65 on flats.
-
Companies don't spec trucks for their drivers, they spec them for resale value.
They cut down the horsepower while used at the company, then turn them up to high horsepower when it's time to get rid of them. Some put in 9 speed with an optional shaft to be replaced when sold with the splitter box reinstallalled to get a 13 speed.
It's all about resale. -
how fast are you pulling hills. If the truck is speced for texas it may a fast ratio rear. Remember 70+ thousand pounds usually doesn't go 65 up a hill maybe 45 at very best but if you are doing 35 up step grades then that's about all you will do. I travel mountains everyday and up the steepest ones 25 to 30 at the peak is what it'll do with over 450 hp.
