It's about time

No it's not. It's trucking being used by anarchists.

 

I'll not be driving this weekend, Will be home tomorrow morning, first time in Months I have been home on a Fri. AM
I support the effort, at least someone is doing something finely.

 

I will be driving. And spending money. I support my fellow drivers by keeping them in a job by being a consumer.

 

Yes, three days America will shut down, try three weeks for better results.

 

I must admit, it isnt much, but at least it is something. Hear a lot of talk, but no action. These people are at least trying. Yes, it could be better organized, with a up front message, but just the site of a bunch of trucks could make a difference. If only a few people start talking, or one station covers it, thats more publicity then has been had before. Hope it wakes someone up, but I wont hold my breath as I would possibly die first. But, I support them and hope something comes of it, something is better then nothing.

 

Here's something to think about. Mr Santilli, one of the leaders has just taken it up a notch, a violent notch.

He is using truckers as a prawn for something bigger possibly, he wants violence. This is not a good thing. At all.

Just waiting for all the "You can't do that cuz strikes are illegal" - types to chime in.

I've been advocating this for years.

 

Oh peaceful strikes are protected in the constitution.

 

Well I didn't want to, but I drew the short straw on the load board and ended up in DC that weekend.

Didn't see anything worth noting.

Was worried that the LEO's and DOT would be all up my backside because of the "threat"

Needless to say, I made my delivery and skipped town. ASAP!
