I hear with all the fancy technology and electronic leashes, company can remotely tune up/down HP - tune down while driving on long straight highways and tune up on hill/mountainous terrain.

would be curious what your gearing is. drove a 505hp Mack CXU demo truck a few months back, gov. @ 65 mph with 2:70 gearing, @ 78,000 lbs I was getting 9.7 mpg on the flats, but pulling a hill, it couldn't get out of it's own way. Was definetly a traffic hazard climbing Vail/Eisenhower.

If obviously heavy, 78k+ company flatbeds are passing you on the steeper, longer grades @ 5+ MPH, it's not "normal". But if you don't want to take serious measures to get it corrected, then I don't know what to tell you. A call to breakdown was a waste of your time and cell minutes.
