well same old story been with Swift 6, 7 months had old beater Volvo that I drove the wheels off of broke down every 3 weeks like clockwork been every shop in the country then I hit gold status about two weeks later they had to trade my truck in and they gave me a brand new truck and shortly after that i recieved my second service failure in 6 months so my question is that is if you lose gold status are they going to yank the new truck is that policy how does that work any ideas thanks

No they won't take your truck but 2 service failures in 6 months is something to work on...

I'm not with Swift, but out of curiosity, what do they consider a "service failure"? What is the criteria for separating justifiable mechanical problems (purely truck's fault) from neglectful or operator-induced problems?

Tapeworm, KW Cajun and TruckinWithJosh Thank this.

If you are caught in accident traffic 10 miles before, and so are late for your delivery, you can be hit with a service failure.
That was one of mine.
I even sent a Mac22 as I was sitting in traffic, but to no avail.
The other 2 were purely my fault, as I overslept.
Swift has a new policy concerning service failures. It is now your percentage of on-time loads - not the number of failures.
On the other hand, I have been late for many loads and have not gotten a sf for it.
The reasons being such things as a late dispatch, being held up by construction zones, accidents that delay me, and the list goes on.
It's a crap shoot.Tapeworm Thanks this. -
