Yea most who own them milskried don't have good driving habits, don't have any mechanical know how, don't understand the DPF/EGR/TuRBO system, and just think the more miles u drive the more u get paid. I'm ISX all the way, wouldn't get a cat, and am not interested in Detroit, they bankrupt...

    milskired Thanks this.

I bought my truck from Lone Mountain. I have no problem with them, they treated me right and I got the truck at the end as promised, no muss no fuss. I would definitely do business with them again!

If your so adamant they are bad, let us know who has a better deal with minimal down payment and minimal credit standards on late model trucks for new owner operators. There isn't a better deal that I know of. I've never bought a truck from them, but I have several friends that have, and paid them off.

I find it hilarious when people start talking about lemon trucks when they say EGR and X-Y shifter. Those are common everyday problems with those drivetrains. If you buy a 2003-up ISX, Detroit, or Volvo motor, you are going to have EGR problems every year or two. It's not if, it's when. The Eaton autos seem to eat an xy shifter every 5-600k. This is just typical maintenance for a modern truck and the reason a lot of O/O still rock the pre-EGR trucks or gliders.

Whats with you man? You can walk into LMTL with $3500 and roll out with a ride. People here have paid off their units with no problems or would you rather go to Springfield and lease for $4000 a month before fuel?

The seller is taking all the risk here...so what? he should do it for free?

Just sayin man...the lessor has a right to cover his risk and lord knows , we're a risky group.

I've also had problems with Lone Mountain. 2008 Volvo with a D/13. Had it inspected, Dyno'd and DOT'd. Without getting into the whole story, I had more down time than road time. 3 major break downs in a 6 month span...Just food for thought.

us xpress stopped getting Volvos because every 2008 Volvo with the d13 was bad.... that's 1,800 bad trucks all with the d13......

it's not lone mountains fault that Volvo made a bad motor

    Loke Thanks this.
