I am in the Entertainer Bus Business and since 1986 I have driven over 2.5 million miles ticket and accident free. It has been a long ride,I took 2013 off to build a new lease coach for the 2014 season and its the begining of another 20 year realationship on the road. I will be 50 this year and when I am 70 I will be done, the furtherest i will want to travel then will be to the mailbox to get the mail LOL. But I wouldnt trade my life for anything,I have seen a lot of things, been a lot of places, done a lot of stuff and enjoyed every minute of it!!!!!!!

I'm about 1.3 million with a few bumps and bruises along the way. My first week out, I would've never thought I could of lasted as long as I have. I started trucking with a small mom and pop outfit that was mostly flatbeds with a few dry vans and some reefers. I practiced in the yard for a few months learning how to tie things down and maneuver. We all know how things go in trucking and on a Friday as I was leaving the office to go home for the weekend, the guy who hauls a multi-stop to Atlanta decided to call off at the last second. Since I was standing there, the manager asked if I wanted to go and I jumped at the chance. I still remember how cool that felt, driving with no one by my side. I was looking good too, hauling a fancy reefer trailer with lots of chrome, lights, and a 10 foot spread. In that first run I managed to put a nice yellow gouge in the trailer by rubbing a bollard too hard, I backed into another truck at a truck stop, and I ripped some insulation off of one of the trailer doors on a dock guard. I've gotten better. I peddle groceries into Brooklyn and Queens on a daily basis now without ever rubbing anything, but man how I sucked my first week out.
