Just got out of the shower, do not recall the year or truck stop or state. I was walking back to the truck feeling good from the hot shower. I get up into the truck, I look atop my dashboard for my things, but the stuff is not mine. I hear a knock on the door, and the driver says what are you doing in my truck. Same company, different truck number. My truck was three spots over.

I was asked to pull in to secondary inspection at customs, officer tells me to pick any door from A-E and to let him know what door I chose. I had just gotten my 387 with a weird 12-speed auto tranny where you have to maintain a constant pressure on the throttle to reverse. Too light and you'll stop rolling, too hard and you'll back like a bat out of hell. It was my first time backing in the truck to boot. Hit the door with a loud bang. Go inside and he laughs and says well I guess you're in door C. Lol.
g.o.a.l, DoneYourWay and davetiow Thank this. -
I will pass if my gov is set 1 mile higher. I know the 4 wheelers think we should lay down for them but they sure screw us over all the time. Bad attitude I know but we lay down for them all the time they can give us an inch every once in a while.

Years ago I was teaming in a training co... Pick up a loaded trailer at a shipper at night, my team partner checked paper work and said all was good. Ran about 400 miles till morning just to find out it was the WRONG trailer.... Oooops..... Called dsp immediately.... good thing she was very cool and under control... never shouted at us or anything like that... Instead, she told us to keep the trailer and keep moving, .... since it was supposed to be delivered in the same direction we were going, she changed our load assignment, we faxed her the paperwork and all was good.... And she probably found someone else to pick up the trailer that we failed to pick up.... I guess we were not the only rookie drivers who made this mistake....
