Like I said its nothing big..just a headache is all..it was up to using 2 gallons a day ..we know it is leakin near heater coil..not sure if its bad clamps or what..but Cummings supposedly fixed it but still leaking..i just want it fixed..thats it.. LOL

Well the first alignment was kw's fault..the truck only had 500 miles on it when we had to have it aligned due to them not bolting the ubolt on axle when it left factory..but we normally get it aligned with a set of tires..so its been aligned 3 times in 1.5 yrs since we got it..

My truck doesn't sit enough for the reservoir to get cold..LOL I expect things to happen just don't want to be sitting another 2 days to think its gonna get fixed...Hopefully when I go home next week it will get fixed once again..I know things gonna break..we put over 320k miles on it since we had it..it runs too much to be perfect..LOL

I know that when I was having my issues, I got ahold of the supervisor in Rapid, told her what was going on and we had two choices, get everything done and done right or talk to IEL and say, you are getting it back and tell them why. Everything has been fixed now, but still problems with the DEF crap, and have been told, once it starts, it does not stop.

I had thought about calling rapid response but not sure if there is something they can do or not..You know it has been something always going on with this truck..I just want it fixed..Its not real major stuff but the fuel tank constantly shifting is what bothers me most..plus taking it to be fixed multiple times for same thing and it never gets fixed.. LOL

Talk to Rapid and let them know, and be firm with them. They will make sure that it gets taken care of, especially the fuel tank. Both of my fog lite covers have been busted for about 2 years now, and I could care less. they still work. Definitely get that coolant problem taken care of.

2 gallons a day???!!!! That's very big ... know how much coolant I've used in a year ... 0. It's closed, pressurized system you should use no coolant ever.

Next question, do you smell coolant, when you're stopped, is it puddling under the truck ... if the answer to both those question is no, then the next question is how often are you doing regens and are you blowing white smoke ... if the answer to those is a lot and yes ... then your EGR cooler is shot

You're do for an overhaul of your DPF system ... bake and flow/pin test the DPF filter, clean the turbo prefilter and the DOZR. If you have to replace the EGR cooler, you will need to do this anyway and probably just replace the DPF filter ...

Let me go back a bit and explain, we had to have kenworth replace blender valve for a/c...after this was replaced..this is when the leak started..It started using coolant right after this..it would use about half a gallon every 3-4 days...then it got to everyday...then it got to 1 gallon per day..in the past week it was up to 2 gallons a day..it appears to be leakin near heater coil..there is no puddles of it when we are parked...there is no issues with regens..the regen always tries to regen when in city but it usually picks back up when we get back to highway..Never seen no white smoke coming out at all. it is weird...it never started until they replaced that blender valve for my a/c which in turn caused my rear a/c to stop working properly..

your talking about expansion. and that's best to do it HOT.

as for pressure. that comes from the hot water which releases steam. it's going to have pressure. not matter what the level is.
