Record-high ratio of Americans in prison

    This problem stems mostly from the out of control drug use throughout the nation and very little to due with politics.

    Let me asist in this one without it escalating to "BS" LOL

    The point as I see it. Looking at the numbers.

    30% of all American households receive some form of Government assistance. Social Security and unemployment are NOT included in these numbers.

    The poster clearly points out that 1% of the population receives this on a FULL time basis. Medical and dental included.

    10% of the US population is employed by the Government.

    Just those numbers alone, show that 6 out of 10 Americans work to support the other 4. And, we haven't included people on Social Security yet.

    Just for the sake of arguement. Lets say we have 10 families. 6 that work. The raw cost of living is $1500 per month. Those 6 have to earn over $2500 a month to insure the other 4 are taken care of at the bare minimum of lifestyles.
